STORY / ART EXPERIENCE _________________________________________________________________________

Digital Sculptor Intern, Hasbro Inc., Pawtucket, RI Summer 2015
As part of the sculpting department in Hasbro, created digital sculptures for various toy lines including: My Little Ponies, Equestria  Girls, Star Wars, Marvel, Littlest Pet Shop, Playdoh and Magic: the Gathering:· Sculpted accessories for 6 new pony figures, which are parts of Hasbro’s “International Friendship Day” campaign.

· Designed poses, reposing and cleaning up 8 Marvel figures.

· Modeled weapons and props for multiple new Star Wars figures based on limited amount of given photo references.

· Sculpted and modeled customs and accessories for the new Spiderman figure.

· Fully sculpted a new figure for the Littlest Pet Shop brand and a new figure with articulations for the Playdoh brand.

· Added articulated joints for multiple sculptures.

· Reposed and cleaned up 3D models for various toy lines. Making them ready to be manufactured.


Freelance Environment Artist, Mote Marine Laboratory, Sarasota, FL, 2014
Participated in constructing a scientifically accurate underwater game environment.

·   Defined the art direction and the focused assets of the project for the team.

· Sculpted and textured marine animals, rocks, coral reefs, and terrain for the game demonstrating “ocean acidification”.

· In charge of the communication between the scientists and the art team; guaranteed the game environment and assets were scientifically accurate.

As part of the core curriculum for Game Art & Design department:

· Modeled and created a story-based sci-fi game environment in UDK; fully modeled and textured modular assets.

· Designed and developed a forest environment in UDK; created special effects: fog, water and post processing chain; animated branches and many plants.

“President List” in 2014. A 3D Lamborghini vehicle model is included in the “Best of Ringling Student Art Exhibit”. Game environment piece “2115” won the 2nd place of the “Mote Marine Student Art Competition”. Proficient in modeling (Highres and Lowres models), texturing, sculpting in ZBrush, baking normal, UE4, digital painting in Photoshop. Strong background in software and tools: Autodesk Maya, Unreal Development Kit, 3d Coat, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Pixologic ZBrush, 3DS MAX, NDo2, DDo. Grow up in a Chinese literature family. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English. Big fan of MOBA games, FPS games, Singing, mountain climbing and making great Chinese food.
