First Finished Zbrush Model
Here is my first finished Zbrush model. I used to make some simple models in Zbrush, but none of them are actually finished. This time I tried something a little bit more complex. I finally discover all the brushes that I like to use. I have to say that sculpting in Zbrush is more interesting than modeling in Maya. I took three pages of notes on my notebook while I am making this little creature, so I learned something. I hope you like it!

Finally, I have finally finished this big project, it took us one semester to make it. This is the product of our entire Sophomore GADs, solute to all of them! Here is my version of Islamic cliff town, I am very proud of it. Below are some screenshots and a short walk-through, but sadly they can not cover the entire world I make, it takes too long to walk trough the entire world, but here you can still see some pretty sweet stuffs, enjoy!

My Traditional Animation Pieces
These are some of my traditional animation pieces, I did that during my first year, I took Traditional Animation I with Mr. Gary Schumer, a former Disney animator, and one of the authors of "Ideas for the Animated Short: Finding and Building Stories", I really learned a lot from his class!
Flour Sack Adventure
Character Jump
Character Walk Cycle
Two Gouache Paintings
Those are two gouache paintings that I did when I was in China, I prefer the one that has fruits and a small pot, my art teacher fixed a few things for me. I am not really good at painting, but I want to continue to learn it so badly! They are not masterpieces but I love both of them!
Maya Software Lighting Pieces
Here are 3 Maya software lighting pieces that I did during the summer break. The first one is a interior lighting practice, it took me two days to do it. It is my very first indoor lighting piece, I did not model the room. The second one is a still life lighting practice, it turns out fine, I think I made good reflection lights on the objects.
The lighting on the ball is mental ray, I used illuminate photons in that piece, enjoy!

Maya Environment Modeling Castle
Here are some screenshots of my old modeling works that I have done 3 months ago, I modeled a European castle.I don't really think too much about the poly-counts here, but I really learned a lot from this project. I was inspired by "Lord of the Ring", I also added some damage effects on it, I hope you like it!

Old Work: Website Design
Below, there are two screenshots from two websites I designed, one is for a website that sells books and a website that sells second-hand car. Those are just the homepages of the two sites:
Some Old 3D Works that Were Done In 3ds Max
Here are something I made in Autodesk 3DS Max, they are some old works that I made long time ago. As a 3D artist, I should learn know both 3DS Max and Maya, although I want to focus myself on Maya. Those are some screenshots from an animation I made, the characters are in 2D and the environments were modeled in 3DS Max, enjoy them!
Ecology of Water Project: Ocean Acidification: "2115"
Here are some screenshots of a project that I cooperated with 2 of my schoolmates: Michael Fahel and Pat Vadanathorn. We used Unreal Development Kit, Autodesk Maya 2013, Adobe Premiere CS6. I made all the modeling and texturing works. Michael made the underwater environment and the effects, he also helped edit the video clips and make the back ground music, Pat is a brilliant motion designer, he made the motion graphics at the beginning and the ending of the project. We think this is a very successful project, it was shown at an art exhibition at an institue that study marine animals. Our Principle and the head of the department like our project very much, we were asked to turn this to a real game next year. The size of our video exceeds the file size limit of blogger, but hopefully I will upload some screenshots of all the models I made for this project, I will keep updating things about our project: "2115"!
More Photos of my board game!
Yesterday I shot more photos of my board game in the photo studio on campus, so now I have more to show you! I tried really hard to create 3 point light, but the photo studio was so crowded, I could not use all the lights I wanted. The placement of light sources is not perfect, but it works fine, enjoy!
